Today we received an e-mail from our facilitator/orphanage director that the Embassy has authorized the 2nd DNA test to be taken. He will take Cristina to get the DNA test and then the sample will be sent to North Carolina overnight. He told us that it should take 10 days from DNA authorization to receive our "pink", notification of our Embassy appointment and Visa pick-up. So that would mean that we would hopefully get "pink" next Friday the 28th. Usually visa appointments are given between 3 days to 2 weeks out. I personally wouldn't mind if we only had 3 days notice. Heck! I would go tomorrow if they told us we had our appointment then! So it looks like we probably could be leaving to bring Cristina home the 2nd week of January. O.K everybody, let's cross our fingers and pray that we get "pink" next week!

Cristina is adoreable!! I know you can hardly wait to add her to your family. God bless and may you get that phone call to go get her real soon!! What a Christmas present!!
