DNA results sent to Guatemala

Got an e-mail from the lab this morning telling us that the DNA results were sent to the US Embassy in Guatemala on Monday, December 31st. They also gave us tracking information so we can see when it gets to the Embassy. Expected arrival day is Friday, January 4, 2008. So, we're still hoping that we'll get pink by next Friday but sooner would be GREAT!! This will tell us when our Visa/Embassy appointment is in Guatemala.

We also got an e-mail from our agency with the DNA results. The results of the 2nd DNA test were matched with the results of the 1st DNA test that was taken in June soon after we got our referral. This test was to make sure that the baby that we will be picking up is the same one that was referred to us back in May. They were a match. (We knew they would be anyway).
