Can I come by myself if my spouse or significant other can’t come?Of course! We didn’t intend to make this dinner a “couple” event. As stated on the invitation, we ask that each guest brings a dinner so that people can come by themselves.
Can I bring my children?
Sure! This is an outdoor event so there will be plenty of room for children to roam. And if they get tired of running around, I’m sure my mom or niece will be able to watch them as we put on a movie in the t.v. room.
What can I bring if I don’t know how to cook?
You can go to Subway or Blimpie’s for a sandwich or Kentucky Fried Chicken. Actually, any fast food restaurant would suffice.
How will I keep the dinner warm?
You can bring it in a Tupperware container and heat it in our microwave or wrap the food in aluminum foil.
What is the schedule for the evening?
The evening starts with guests arriving at 6:00 to socialize and browse the boxed dinners. At 6:30, guests will decide on what box they want to bid on and then bidding will begin. Throughout the evening, guests will mingle, eat and buy dessert if they want something sweet to eat while listening to jazz, blues or other types of easy listening music.
