Second Fundraiser--another huge success!!

Our Mystery Box Dinner was a huge success!! We had 19 people at our house in our backyard who each brought a dinner in a box or basket. We all sat in a semi-circle on lawn chairs or blankets while bidding on each others dinners. In the background we had jazz music playing from our t.v. Everyone had a wonderful time! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening! The weather was cool and there was a slight breeze. Phil's friend John was the auctioneer and he did an awesome job! We had desserts and drinks available to "purchase" through donations. Towards the end of the evening there was talk about "next time we should..." So, who knows, maybe we'll have another one in the early fall.
