Adoption Finalized!!!

On November 12 our adoption was finalized here in Nebraska. It was a such a wonderful day. Both sets of grandparents were there for this long-awaited event. The judge went over all of our paperwork (as a formality) and told us that as soon as he signed the adoption decree Cristina Elizabeth McDermott would be considered our natural born child. Since we were not able to have children of our own, those words meant alot to us! I began to cry when he said that.
