We hadn't heard any updates from our adoption coordinator, Michelle, since our referral so I sent her an e-mail on Sunday asking for any updates regarding Cristina Elizabeth, especially about DNA testing. I received an automated response saying she was going to be out of the office until today. So I anxiously waited to receive her e-mail today and lo & behold we got a response around 10:00 A.M. She said that she had just received a request for DNA authorization today and she sent back the authorization immediately. We should be getting the results in the next 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, Michelle is going to work on getting some updated photos. After we get the results back saying that she is a match then we have permission to go visit her if we choose. At this time, we don't have any plans to make a visit trip. Who knows, though, we might just change our mind.
